Our Mission

Ensuring children online safety through awareness, advocacy, accountability, and empowered digital parenting.

Our Vision

Creating a digital ecosystem where Ethiopian children can explore, learn, and grow without exposure to systematic digital risks or harmful contents.

Core Objectives

  • Increase public awareness: run a campaign and share insightful resources for parents, teachers, and children
  • Strengthen policy: advocate for adoption of robust digital child-protection laws and regulatory reforms
  • Ensure platform accountability: push for transparent safety standards, independent audits, and enforceable remedies
  • Support parents/caregivers: provide practical tools, training, and guidance to promote responsible digital parenting
  • Build multi‑stakeholder partnerships: convene policymakers, civil society, and tech leaders to co-create evidence-based solutions

Workineh is a journalism educator and researcher at Jimma University, with professional experience as a freelance journalist for BBC News and Addis Zeybe. He is dedicated to advancing media literacy and youth empowerment in Ethiopia. Currently, he focuses on creating a safe digital world for children, integrating research and practice.
